No piano lessons December 24, 25, 31 or January 1, 2021.
We are planning a virtual program of Christmas songs for the area nursing homes. Songs will be videod during the piano lesson; no memorization needed. Students are also working on a program for their immediate family.
Piano students in grades 7 through 12 can win $75 by writing an essay on the theme: “Music …is a Storyteller.” Interested? See me for details. Deadline to be uploaded is January 10, 2021.
Any age up to 19 years can submit a musical themed poem to compete for $100; deadline February 1st.
Hazel Day joined the One Minute Club. We continue Sightreading and having perfect worksheets posted. Thank you to the 15 students who participated in “I am thankful for music because…” Piano teachers across the USA flooded facebook with their quotes.
