Piano students in grades 7 through 12 have the opportunity to win $75 by writing an essay on the theme: Music …is a Storyteller. We have all played or heard music that tells us a story. Are you interested? Let me know. The entry must be uploaded by January 10 2021.

We have begun Sightreading, marked in your assignment book as “S.R.” or “LAD”. There are random notes to play and one line of music to play perfectly observing rhythm, dynamics, articulations and notes.
This month Clara Gilliam and Izabel Jack joined the One Minute Club by recognizing all the grand staff notes in under a minute! Izabel, Hazel, Bridie and Clara completed books. Six perfect worksheets were turned in by Della Andreasen, Izabel Jack and Frank Winter; Bridie Chapman, Clara Gilliam and Champion Tribble had five perfect worksheets.
