This month: No piano lessons July 4th. Summer break July 22-August 2 (A discounted tuition fee sent home with students)
Summer challenge: students may choose areas they wish to focus on along with enjoying fun, teaching games about piano. Areas offered are improv, sight reading, lead sheets, composition, ear training, rhythm and note skills.
Our next program will again be at Excelsior Nursing & Rehab and will feature minor pieces which sound mysterious, spooky or sad. The residents really enjoyed your Folk Tunes and Patriotic music presented in June and are looking forward to our next program in October. (Memorization not required.)
As soon as you know if sports, dance, gymnastics, karate, boy scouts or 4-H will conflict with your scheduled piano lessons, let me know. Your current time will continue this fall unless you tell me you need a change.
